Vingroup's predecessor is Technocom, an instant noodle manufacturer founded in 1993 in Ukraine. In 2000, through two joint stock companies Vincom and Vinpearl, Technocom Group invested in Vietnam in the fields of hotel, tourism, real estate, securities and financial trading.
