Regularly washing hands, cleaning computer keyboards, wearing masks when taking elevators, drinking warm water, limiting gatherings ... are the considerations that workers should take to combat Covid-19.

Working in the middle of the Covid-19 epidemic season booming in many localities across the country is making workers worried. What should people do to safely overcome the Covid-19 epidemic? They should follow these helpful medical tips below:

1. Wear a mask properly when taking the lift

Elevators in offices are frequently used by people, not to mention the space in the elevator is quite narrow, so it is difficult for people to keep a safe distance.

Therefore, it is advised to wear a mask in the elevator to prevent yourself and the community from transmitting Covid-19. When wearing a mask, you need to remember to wear it properly and not to hold the front of the mask after use.

With a disposable mask, you need to throw the mask in a covered trash can and wash your hands after use, whereas with a cloth mask, you must wash it every day to ensure hygiene.

2. Wash your hands before and after handling public equipment

Timekeeper, elevator buttons, and door handles are the devices that most people have to contact every time in and out of the office. Therefore, they become the residence of many types of bacteria and viruses. Understanding this problem, most offices have now put dry hand sanitizer bottles at the entrance and in elevators.

Washing your hands before and after handling public equipment is necessary to reduce the risk of Covid-19 infection. You also should not forget to wash your hands with antibacterial soap and clean water several times a day.

3. Wash your hands with soap and clean water for at least 30 seconds

According to the latest recommendation of the Ministry of Health, people should wash their hands with soap and water for at least 30 seconds to prevent Covid-19.

Hands should be washed several times a day, including the moment after sneezing or coughing; after removing the mask; before meals; before and during food processing; after contact with animals; and after going to the toilet. When soap and water are not available, you may wash your hands with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

4. Clean personal items with disinfectant

You should regularly clean familiar items such as desks, laptop keyboards, wallets, mobile phone screens ... Because these are places that your hands are frequently exposed to every day, so accidentally they could be the residence of bacteria and viruses.

In addition to maintaining office hygiene, offices should use air cleaners that help clean dust, mold spores, viruses, bacteria and other allergenic components in the air, thus helping the air circulate, minimizing the environment for the sheltering virus bacteria to protect their health.

5. Drink lots of water, especially warm water

Water helps you purify your body, giving you a healthy feeling, full of energy. You can drink juice, broth, tea ... but water is still the most important. It is important not to forget to supplement the body with a certain amount of water every day to purify the body.

The habit of drinking warm water every day is also helpful in preventing Covid-19 disease because warm water not only helps kill virus bacteria but also softens the throat and reduces irritation, fights the respiratory disease. Currently, on the market, there are several products of water purifiers that integrate hot water. You just need to press the button to have a cup of warm water right away.
