Business Registration Department (Ministry of Planning and Investment) has published a report on the situation of suspension and dissolution of enterprises in December and in 2016. Accordingly, the number of dissolved and decommissioned businesses in 2016 is 73145, which means everyday there were 200 businesses suspending operation and completing the formalities of dissolution.
The number of dissolved businesses tends to grow, reaching 12 478 businesses, 3011 higher compared to same period in 2015 (31.8%).
Specifically, the number of suspended businesses on a fixed-term basis is 19917. When the term expires, these businesses will continue their business activities. The number of businesses being suspended without registration or expecting dissolution all over the country is 40750.
"Besides the favorable conditions of the new policy framework and the open opportunities during the integration of the country, the inherent limitations that have not been fully resolved are the obstacles making difficulties for operations and business activities of domestic enterprises, "the report stated.
Previously, Business Registration Department also informed that the number of businesses being established in 2016 has set a record at 110,100, 16.2% higher compared to 2015.
