Currently, there is a large amount of rice in stock at Indian ports that have not been exported because traders are not willing to pay the new price.
Meanwhile, China is expected to import a large amount of rice in the last months of 2022 and early 2023. That creates favorable conditions for Vietnam and several other countries exporting rice to China.
