In October 2020, VietnamCredit released a report on Vietnam's Steel Industry, providing an overview of the industry in Vietnam, the current situation of steel production, consumption, imports and exports, challenges and opportunities that the industry is experiencing.
The list of top outstanding enterprises in Vietnam’s Steel industry was selected by VietnamCredit by evaluating businesses operating within the steel value chain. The information on the companies’ performance is derived from the database of VietnamCredit, and other in-house sources. The evaluation criteria for choosing outstanding companies comprise financial and non-financial criteria including legal history, company scale, credit rating, financial indicators, and objective assessment by VietnamCredit rating experts of the businesses in 05 consecutive years (2015-2019).
