The sudden growth of Vietnam’s automobile market that led to an unusual record in November is mainly because of the 50% discount on registration fees. The discount came in effect from December 1, 2021, and a whole month before that, many customers bought cars and waited until December to register. Hence, the automobile market at the end of the year grew strongly.

Along with the pandemic that is gradually being controlled, the Government's preferential policies will help the auto market in early 2022 to prosper. Accordingly, imports of auto parts and accessories are expected to increase again next month.
