The company was formerly Intimex Import-Export Company (Ministry of Industry and Trade) established in 1995. In 2006, it was equitized and Intimex Import-Export Joint Stock Company in Ho Chi Minh City was formed. In 2011, its name was changed to Intimex Group Joint Stock Company (Intimex Group).
