Da Nang tourism affirmed as a key economic sector.

After 20 years, the city has attracted 76 investment projects in tourism with a total investment capital of over $ 12 billion, including 17 foreign investment projects and 59 domestic investment projects. Revenue from tourism services (hotels and travel) increased gradually over the years. In 1997, revenue from tourism services was only VND129 billion while by the end of 2017, it has increased over VND15 thousand billion.

The Danang Investment Promotion Department informed that Da Nang is ranked 17th in the country in terms of attracting foreign direct investment (FDI), ranking 8th in the country in FDI projects. Domestic capital and foreign direct investment (FDI) in the city last year mainly came from tourism-related real estate ($ 1.1 billion), industry ($ 447 million), services US $ 300 million) and the lowest investment is for agriculture, forestry and fishery (US $ 1.9 million).

Danang – a real estate hot spot

Da Nang real estate sales experienced the highest growth in 2017, partly due to the contribution from the Da Nang APEC Summit. Land and adjacent houses were sold with the rate of 80-85% on the opening day. According to CBRE Vietnam, by 2017, the total number of condotel supplies in Da Nang was 7,060.

Forecst - Danang real estate 2018

According to forecasts of the Vietnam Real Estate Association: 2018 will be the boom year of smart apartment shophouse, condotel (hotel apartment), Officetel (office-residential) in Da Nang. Land will continue to be the most popular segment, and the South and North West are areas with potential for development of land and townhouse projects.

Savills in Da Nang: Condotel supply may triple in 2018.

BRE Vietnam: Condotel supply in Da Nang to be about 9,000 units.
